Village of Hobart Board meeting minutes                        Special Meeting September 1, 2021

            A special meeting was called to order by Mayor Aaron Kaufman at 5:45 p.m. for the purpose of adopting an amended resolution that had been passed in May of 2020.  Those present were Mayor Kaufman, Trustees Jim Quarino, Amy Reinshagen, Gordy Key and Kayla Mason, Clerk-Treasurer Kellee Estus, Joe Andreno and Anne Elizabeth Moore.  Mayor Kaufman stated the resolution titled Supplemental Bond Resolution Water System Improvements had amended certain terms of the bond resolution that was dated May 18, 2020.  This resolution also had to be passed by 4/5 of the Board which was not possible at the last board meeting.  A motion for the amended resolution was made by Trustee Quarino with a second by Trustee Key.  The resolution was put to a vote on a roll call with all 5 board members unanimously voting aye.  Joe Andreno spoke to the board regarding zoning and planning issues.  Mayor Kaufman appointed Joe Andreno and Anne Elizabeth Moore to the Zoning Board of Appeals.  Mayor Kaufman read with regret a resignation letter of the ZBA from Karl Ogborn.  Joe Andreno asked for the ZBA to have monthly meetings the first Wednesday of the month at 6 p.m.  The Village Board was fine with that.  A motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:56 p.m. was made by Trustee Reinshagen with a second from Trustee Mason, with all in favor, carried.  Meeting adjourned.
