VILLAGE OF HOBART SPECIAL BOARD MEETING MINUTES MARCH 30, 2017
A special meeting of the Village of Hobart Board of Trustees was called to order at 6 p.m. by Mayor Aaron Kaufman. Those present were Mayor Kaufman, Trustees David Hotaling and Gordy Key and Clerk-Treasurer Kellee Estus. The tentative budget was presented to the Board members. After review, a motion to accept the budget as is was made by Trustee Hotaling, with a second from Trustee Key, with all in favor, carried.
A motion to accept the following resolution No. 2 of 2017 was made by Trustee Key with a second from Trustee Hotaling, with all in favor, carried. The resolution titled Joint Sale of Tax-Acquired Properties by Village of Hobart and County of Delaware; Whereas, the County of Delaware has proceeded to foreclose on the following properties in the Village of Hobart; and Whereas it is in the best interest of the Village and the County of Delaware to work together to protect the Village tax lien; Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the County of Delaware sell the interest of both municipalities, the proceeds form said sale shall be divided in proportion to the taxes owed each entity for the years 2015-2016 and 2016-2017. Each property to be treated individually.

A motion to set a public hearing at 6 p.m. prior to the Village Board meeting on April 17th for the adoption of the 2017-2018 budget was made by Trustee Key, with a second from Trustee Hotaling with all in favor, carried.
A motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:09 p.m. was made by Trustee Hotaling, with a second from Trustee Key, with all in favor, carried. Meeting adjourned.
