VILLAGE OF HOBART BOARD MEETING MINUTES                      JANUARY 15, 2018

            The regular meeting of the Village of Hobart Board of Trustees was called to order at 6:35 p.m. by Mayor Aaron Kaufman.  Those present were Mayor Kaufman, Trustee Amy Reinshagen, Clerk-Treasurer Kellee Estus, Superintendent of DPW Lucas McMullen, Chief Operator of Waste Water Richi Horne, Andrew Flach, and SKCS senior students Samantha Estus, Akyra Olsen, Dawson Darling, Tyler Swantak, Jeffrey Christman, Kyle Soule, Freddie Webster and Evan Whitney.  The students were present as part of their Participation in Government requirement.
            Mayor Kaufman went through the agenda to show the procedure of the meeting for the benefit of the students while waiting for other Board members to arrive.

Superintendent Lucas McMullen reported the crew has been busy plowing streets and sidewalks.  When not doing that they have been working on keeping the trucks and equipment serviced.  He stated there were a few water leaks during the cold snap and they were dealt with.

Chief Operator of Waste Water Richi Horne stated she attended a webinar on the water system.  She also stated she has 2 quotes for the slurry tank for the press.

Andrew Flach stated the holiday gift fair that was in December was successful.

Mayor Kaufman tabled all items on the agenda due to lack of a Board quorum.  The meeting was adjourned by Mayor Kaufman at 6:48 p.m.
